What to Expect:
Check-in begins at 5pm on Friday. Rec options will be available at 3pm.
Arrival Time: Check-in is from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. Group leaders check in with registrars at the site you are staying at: Forest Center - Blinco Lodge; Adventure Mountain - Supply Station. The rest of your group checks in with the group leader. If you prefer to arrive earlier, the pool, lake, challenge course, and Clubhouse will be open beginning at 3:00 pm. (You will not be able to check into your room until 5:00). If you arrive after 7:30 you can check in with the registrar at the Adventure Mountain field until 10:00 p.m. After 10:00 p.m. you can check in at the Roundhouse. You can check out our website www.foresthome.org for maps and driving directions. We recommend that you depart for Forest Home as early as possible to beat holiday traffic.
What to Bring: Camp will be a relaxing experience, so bring comfortable clothing and hiking or walking shoes. All of the main sessions will be held in the outdoor tent at Adventure Mountain, so we suggest that you bring a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt. Bring a flashlight, Bible, notebook, pen and paper, and personal toiletries. Because you will be outdoors in the evenings, I would suggest that you bring insect repellant. Bedding, pillows and towels are not furnished so you need to bring them or plan to rent them from Forest Home for a fee of $25.00. If you are staying at Adventure Mountain, you may want to bring a battery-operated lantern for each of your tents.
