Jr. High Summer Camp - Creekside

The Experience

Junior High Summer Camp at Creekside is a place and time where your student connects with peers and leaders on a deeper, more spiritual level. Through a variety of intentionally designed programs and activities, each camper will have an opportunity to make decisions for Christ and discover who God has made them to be. Your junior high will learn to care for and respect others while living in community, participating in small groups and enjoying team games.

The Theme

This summer we will meet Steel Falcon, a band of four childhood friends who have been together for years. They've had hits and not-so-hits. They've experimented with various genres - pop, rock, country, folk, hip-hop and more. As their story unfolds we discover who they really are. As we learn about Steel Falcon, we will answer Jesus' question, "Who do you say I am?" Students will grow in their relationship with Jesus as they learn to proclaim him as the Messiah.

What's Your Story?

"I have the wonderful privilege of working with nine eighth grade young men, some of who know Jesus and others who have never seen Jesus at all. For the second year, Forest Home has not disappointed in providing a place where both my students and I can see Jesus in a practical and real way. I had the opportunity to watch as most of my students stopped dating Jesus and choose to be in a committed relationship. I watched my students express emotions like fear, excitement, trust, love, hurt, and sadness, all of which, when rolled together, have given them a stronger relationship with Christ and each other."
