It is always our prayer that the weather not get in the way of a beautiful retreat. Unfortunately, the weather on the mountain is out of our control. Current weather conditions can be seen below. See below for a 7-day weather forecast.

Possibility of Heavy Snow and Ice

During our winter season there is a possibility of heavy snow and ice on walkways and roads. It is strongly recommended that each guest come prepared and bring sturdy, close toed footwear with rubber soles and traction appropriate for snow and ice. This will help to ensure that all guests are moving throughout camp safely. Shoe chains can also be purchased online or at sporting good stores. These attach to your shoes and help tremendously with traction in snow and ice.

The mountain roads are just as unpredictable as the weather.

Chains may be required during the winter season. CalTrans is responsible for any road closures or requirements. Forest Home is not responsible for the conditions provided by CalTrans.
