The Village Summer Camp Stories

"My son attended Indian Village last year, and I was astounded at how much his faith grew as following camp he would casually refer to Bible verses or sing songs he'd learned there. It was with great anticipation then that his younger sister joined him this year. As a parent, there is no greater joy than to see my children growing in their knowledge of God and relationship with Jesus, except to see them walking their journey side by side. Knowing that siblings have many shared experiences creating a unique bond, my heart glows in the knowledge that those bonding experiences include their faith walk.

"At age nine I went to Indian Village. My parents had a friend pay the cost to send me because they could not afford it. I gave my life to Jesus that summer as my personal Lord and Savior."
Dan
"We saw the children enjoy being away from all the normal distractions and learn what encountering Jesus is all about."
Kathy - Burbank, CA
"My campers learned a lot about themselves, that they could do so many more things they didn't think they could. They made new friendships and now have a fire inside them to show others God's impact on them."
Counselor
"Everything was permeated with the word of God. You are helping to hide the word of God in our hearts. I thought it was really foundational in the way it introduces children to the nature and character of God."
John - San Clemente, CA
"This week my campers learned to pray for each other. By living in a confined space for a week the girls learned how to compromise and act like loving sisters in Christ. My campers learned a lot through the council fire skits. It made it easier for them to mimic Jesus."
Layla - Glendora, CA
"This has been a major turning point in my life, not only in understanding Jesus better, but a life lesson."
