Our Approach to Camp Programming
Our focus is on sending you home having advanced your relationship with Jesus Christ as well as strengthening your relationships with your church, group, or family. With that in mind, every part of your experience is designed to stick with you as you return to your everyday life.
Here is how your program is developed and designed:
Large Groups: Introducing the Idea
All large group activities and teachings are designed to creatively frame Scripture truths. These times are purposefully developed with music, media, and content specific to the conference promoting life-changing moments. It is here we introduce new ideas or perspectives for contemplation. Our aim is to raise more questions than answers in this environment.
Small Group: Unpacking an Idea
Each program has a different expression of small group time, but the intent is the same. In this more intimate setting, children, teens, and adults tend to be more vocal and transparent. Unpacking the ideas proposed in the large group time allows the leaders to address and assess each individual's understanding of the content, and encourages dialogue and community.
The Experience: Reinforcing the Idea
While you are “on the mountain,” our highest goal and motivation is to help you accelerate your growth, reconnect with whom you came, and serve you in ways that allow you to return home refreshed and recharged.
The Individual: Owning the Idea
This process leads to one desire - that you would experience the “ah-ha” moments that will change you forever as you apply them to your everyday. Whether these moments happen during the conferences or after arriving home, our sincere hope is that an idea or principle learned is the catalyst for life change.
