This is Michael’s 2nd year working at Forest Home. He’s from Thousand Oaks and calls little Conejo Church his home. He went to Azusa Pacific University and majored in Global Studies.He’s spent some time in Guatemala over the past couple of years and has made some amazing friendships down there. He got to take a group of high school students to meet his friends in Guatemala this summer and found it to be one of the most fulfilling experiences of his life. Michael really loves working here at Forest Home and wants to continue finding ways to make positive contributions to the Church.

Leslie is originally from Lake Wales, Florida (yes, she has an accent).  She was a Psychology major at Erskine College in South Carolina and somehow found her way out to Forest Home to work for the summers during college.  Her very first experience at Forest Home was four years ago when she was a counselor here at Lakeview and this will be her third summer as a dean.  She currently attends Fuller Seminary and lives in Pasadena.  Leslie is so excited to spend another summer with such inspiring people!  

This is Jonathan’s third summer working at Lakeview as a dean.  He grew up in Mission Viejo.  He is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree at Fuller seminary. He graduated from Westmont College in 2006 and now lives back in Orange County.

Daniela first came to Forest Home in the 4th grade as a camper at Indian Village.  Throughout junior high and high school she was a CCA, and later on became a staff member for that program in 2005.  This will be her fourth summer on staff, but her first at Lakeview.  She’s from Fallbrook, CA and grew up going to Calvary Chapel in Fallbrook.  She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2004 with a degree in Visual Communications.  She is currently a preschool teacher for the 3 year old class at A Creative Beginning Preschool in Fallbrook. 

Devin is from Ventura and is currently a student at San Diego State University majoring in social science.  He has plans to become a high school history teacher.  He was a camper at Forest Home through junior high and high school.  He worked at Lakeview as a counselor for the last two summers and is excited to be a dean this summer. 

Amy lives in Arcadia and works with children with special needs.  She attends church at Lake Avenue in Pasadena and volunteers with the high school group there. She grew up coming to Forest Home as a camper.  This will be her fourth summer on staff at Forest Home and her first at Lakeview.

Perry lives in Arizona and works at the Chandler-Gilbert YMCA and is currently a student at Chandler-Gilbert community college. He plans to transfer to APU to study music and communications. He coaches two youth basketball teams, enjoys leading worship for his local youth group, and plays basketball regularly with his friends.

Lex is from San Diego and just returned home from Australia where she spent 6 months with a missions organization. Prior to that she worked in a youth group with high school students as the Missions/Volunteer Coordinator. She enjoys traveling the world, missions, high school students and coffee with friends. This is her first summer working at Forest Home and her future is up in the air (if you know of any job opportunities please let her know).
