She’s everything to you. She’s the most beautiful daughter a mother could ever ask for, and in quiet moments you see her brilliance and all of your hopes and prayers for her future like a masterpiece waiting to be painted. But when she hurts, it hurts you. And when she hurts others, you hurt too. How do you guide her away from toxic friendships, peer pressure, bullying or being bullied? Jesus taught us to love one another, and this is a weekend for you and your daughter to enrich and strengthen the bond and love you have between you while learning to extend the biblical values of justice and peacemaking to your friendships with others. Take advantage of this time to grow together in a safe place of openness and support. Enjoy fun activities like the 300’ zip line and climbing wall, spend time worshiping your Creator, and make memories with your daughter that will last a lifetime. Because our weekend is geared toward equipping moms and daughters to better understand God's love for them and the love He desires for them to have for those around them, we are bringing in more than one speaker this year. No two meetings will be alike on this weekend. In addition to hearing from the two of us (Kristie and Tamara), you'll have opportunities to discuss parenting issues with each other, and also hear from a parent ed teacher (and mother of three young women) and from a professor of gender studies on Saturday morning, when you'll have the opportunity to ask questions of these professionals and get their feedback.

We'll also spend time learning what God expects of us in our friendships and at home. You'll be given the opportunity to worship the Lord as a family. While this weekend will be a slight departure from our usual format, we'll still have some favorite traditions, like the Pajama Party Movie Night.
