Love. God is glorified above all else when we reflect His heart and its vast stores of grace, mercy, and unconditional love to a needy world – a world inversely hardwired for selfishness and indulgences. Sacrificial love – giving of ourselves without expecting something in return– is a powerful currency in our society. It can change perceptions, change attitudes and even change eternities. Loving others the way God loves demonstrates the redemptive power of the cross and revolutionizes lives, and even entire communities. OJAI’s Summer 2008 theme is a heartfelt plea that a “Revolution” would begin with you, in you and in your entire generation this summer.
