Every day lives are changed up on the mountain. From its earliest days in 1938 to now, Forest Home has welcomed tens of thousands each year and the buildings have stood the test of time.
However, continued faithfulness to the gospel requires facilities that are safe, comfortable, and welcoming. The current buildings have served the mission well, but they are worn out.
Now Forest Home is underway with a $21.25 million campaign to renovate the buildings and grounds, to grow ministry and programs, and to endow the future.
Since the launch of the Dream Big Initiative, faithful ministry partners have committed over $19.84 million, making the campaign 93% funded.
By God’s grace and with your partnership, millions more will have a chance to make a decision to follow Christ, or follow Him more closely, over the next 78 years.
Now is the time to make a difference for future generations.
Be a part of the Forest Home big story.
Current Dream Big Projects
The Forest Home Board and leadership prayed and planned for three years before launching this far-reaching Dream Big Initiative . . . a comprehensive plan that will make it possible for Forest Home to reach out to future generations with the Gospel.
We identified the corners of camp that most urgently need renovation or replacement.
These projects cannot wait. They must be completed so men, women, boys, and girls can continue to come to camp to hear about Jesus.
The priority projects for this first phase of Dream Big include meeting spaces to explore God’s Word and respond to the Gospel, spaces for reflection and prayer, spaces to connect and build Christ-centered relationships, spaces for fun, and spaces to eat. Many are completed. Some will be finished as God provides the funding.
The Forest Home family has been coming together to meet this historic challenge. Please join us in dreaming big at Forest Home.
