About this retreat
Fellowship is so important on this faith journey. Are you looking to deepen your friendships with like-minded women in your community? Could you use some time away to refresh your mind, soul, and body? How about some time to let your soul breathe as you seek the Lord away from all of the distractions of daily life?
Our Fall Women’s Retreat at Forest Home is the perfect balance of rest, fellowship, relaxation, learning, and fun. As Fall ushers in a new season in the San Bernardino mountains, you will have the opportunity to indulge in some pampering (massage, anyone?), be encouraged in your walk with God, and make memories with other women as you do crafts, dine on delicious food, and enjoy the many recreation options we have to offer. Whether it’s hiking or journaling, chatting over coffee or sleeping in, you are sure to find what you need in a weekend getaway.
A unique feature that distinguishes Forest Home is our all-inclusive rate packages, which means you won’t pay extra for meals, meeting space, and recreation.

Speaker: Lisa Toney
Worship: Mandie Pinto
Speaker: Lisa Toney
Lisa Toney is a courageous and bold woman of God. She lives life to the fullest and empowers all those she encounters to dream big with God.
The City of Angels is where she hangs her hat. Her dream super power is a flying minivan so that she could instantly transport her family over L.A. traffic.
Lisa brings a message of hope, humor, and authentic faith. Lisa is a teaching pastor at Purpose Church in California and also a Voice for Women of Faith. She loves to speak about and share the brilliance and beauty of Scripture. Lisa has a degree in Communications from Taylor University and an M.Div degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Lisa is the author of Thrive: Live Like You Matter and has a new book coming out this fall called The Scripture Challenge.
One brave man dared to marry her and they have four little people in their home that leave her excited for quiet and clean things some day. Until that day, she relishes those sweet, sloppy, and LOUD moments.
A little bit of coffee, dark chocolate, and a whole lot of Jesus get her through each day. Follow Lisa on her website LisaToney.com, on her Facebook page Lisa Toney, and on Instagram at Lisa Toney Ministries.
