Encounter Jesus, Experience Transformation, and Engage the World

Forest Home is a Christ-centered camp and retreat center partnering with families, churches, schools, and ministries to create spaces where people encounter Jesus, experience transformation, and engage the world.

Our Legacy

A Legacy of Lives Changed by Jesus

Founded by Dr. Henrietta Mears, Forest Home was created as a place set apart for people to clearly hear the voice of God. Dr. Henrietta believed there was something powerful about gathering away from distraction, in the beauty of creation, with hearts open to what God wanted to do. That vision shaped a ministry that would go on to influence generations of Christian leaders, including Billy Graham, and countless families, pastors, students, and missionaries whose stories began on this mountain.

Today, that same mission continues.

Our Beliefs

Our foundation is Scripture. Every experience at Forest Home is rooted in biblical truth and centered on the Gospel.

Health & Safety

From trained staff and licensed medical care to thoughtful safety protocols and emergency preparedness, the safety and well-being of every guest is one of our highest priorities.

Not Just a Camp. A Place of Transformation.

The legacy of camp is one of eternal impact, a sacred, Christ centered experience where lives are transformed, the call for discipleship is made clear, leaders are raised up for global ministry, and lasting decisions for Jesus are made in the beauty of God’s creation. Each day of camp is intentionally designed to create uninterrupted space for campers to connect deeply with God. Over the decades, thousands upon thousands of people have come to this mountain, and here they’ve heard from God and have been called to share the “good news”.

Some describe Forest Home as feeling “one mile nearer heaven.” A place where distractions fade, hearts soften, and people encounter God in ways they never expected.
