Spring: Tour of New Testament Biblical Lands – Turkey

All 40 participants will fly to Eastern Europe to the nation of Turkey. 85% of Biblical events in the New Testament (think the Pauline Epistles, 7 churches of Revelation, etc.) takes place in what we know as modern day Turkey. The GO Year will partner with GTI Tours, a company that specializes in corporate trips to Biblical Lands, to gain transformational perspective on the book of Acts and the actual locations that facilitated the spread of the Gospel in the Early Church.

Local Adventures

Forest Home is located in the literal geographical center of Southern California (no… seriously… there is an official marker on property that says so). Because of this, we are within driving distance of incredible natural wonders that will be a regular part of the GO Program.

  • Forest Home is within a 6 hour drive of 6 (6!) different National Parks, and within 7 hours of at least three more. At least two of these will host a GO year hiking excursion through the experience
  • Forest Home is within just a few hours of countless National Forests and Monuments to explore
  • The GO Year takes place in the San Bernardino Mountains, just above Mile High, at the foot of Mt. San Gorgonio, the tallest peak in Southern California (Elevation 11,650ft). Each student will participate in our annual mini-hike to Big Falls in Valley of the Falls, and will summit at least one mountain peak above 10,000 ft!
