A time to laugh, rest, and reconnect with each other and with God.
Family Camp is built on the belief that when parents and children worship, play, and rest together, lifelong faith and transformation take root. Families are one of God’s greatest gifts, entrusted with the calling of passing faith from one generation to the next. That’s why we created a Christ-centered, all-inclusive vacation where you can slow down, strengthen your relationships, and experience joy-filled moments that draw your family closer to each other and God.
In today’s fast-paced, screen-driven society, families are more disconnected than ever. Meals are eaten in silence, conversations replaced by notifications, and the spiritual bond that once held families together feels strained.
Many Christian moms and dads feel this tension every day. The desire to nurture a close-knit, faith-filled family seems increasingly out of reach, but it is possible.
Forest Home Family Camp offers a transformative, all-inclusive vacation where families unplug from the digital world and plug into meaningful connections with each other and Jesus.
Family Camp is a proven, Christ-centered solution that thousands of families have embraced to reconnect, rejuvenate, and reignite their faith.
“Time and space to focus on Jesus is not something you get with a “regular vacation”. My kids have been gifted with songs they will sing and dance to for the rest of the year and these songs teach about the Jesus way. Worship, prayer, and earnest seeking and listening to God’s voice has given us space to meet with Jesus here.”
At Family Camp, every detail is taken care of so you can finally breathe. Unlike many “all-inclusive” experiences that sacrifice quality for convenience, we believe every detail should be done with excellence. Here, all-inclusive means you’re not just covered, you’re cared for.
Every family is unique, and so are our lodging options. We offer both traditional charm and elevated premium lodging, each designed to help your family rest, reconnect, and feel at home. All of our housing options include air-conditioning and fresh linens, so you can enjoy comfort and peace of mind throughout your stay.
Our kitchen takes pride in preparing fresh, homemade offerings using quality ingredients, creating hearty and nutritious meals that appeal to both children and adults. From comfort food classics to kid-approved favorites alongside fresh salads and seasonal sides, every meal is crafted with care to nourish families during their vacation. Our dining atmosphere encourages fellowship and connection, while the emphasis on fresh, made-from-scratch cooking ensures that you’ll enjoy meals that taste like they came straight from a loving family kitchen.
One of Family Camp’s best kept secrets (and a perk parents love most) is our babysitter program. For children 10 and under, a trusted babysitter comes right to your cabin every evening. You get to enjoy a built-in date night every single night while knowing your kids are in safe hands.
Families tell us this nightly gift of time to connect, rest, and join evening speaker sessions is one of the highlights of Family Camp. It’s a unique part of what makes Family Camp unforgettable and why so many families return year after year.
While you dive into worship and teaching, kids and teens experience age-specific programs designed just for them, led by counselors who love the Lord and are passionate about pouring into the next generation. In these programs, your children not only grow in their faith, but also have fun, build lasting friendships, and bond with peers who love Jesus too.

I’m Thomas, and I am the Lead Pastor of Highlands Church in Scottsdale, Arizona.
After attending Arizona Christian University, I earned my masters degree from Phoenix Seminary, all while serving in different pastoral roles along the way at Highlands.
Whether it was junior high, high school, college, small groups, or preaching ministry, my passion has never changed- I just want to help people find and follow Jesus.
I also believe camps are one of the best ways we can unplug from the chaos, and back into Christ, especially as a family!
My wife Mary and I have been married for 14 years and have 4 wonderful kids. We aren’t experts and are still figuring this whole “godly parenting” thing out, but we love walking alongside other families so we can all figure it out together.
When not at church or home, you’ll likely find us on a baseball diamond, football field, basketball court, golf course, recital, at the gym, or probably stuck in traffic bring a kid to some poorly timed midweek activity.
We look forward to spending some time with you at family camp this summer, so we can all find and follow jesus together.

Pricing depends on your lodging and family size. Classic Studios are the most affordable, while premium cabins like The Pines and Cedar Ridge offer extra space and comfort.
There are also ways to save! (see below)
Yes! Here are a few ways families save:
Yes! You don’t have to pay everything at once. Here’s how it works:
Contact our team for more details, we’ll help you set up the option that works best for your family.
Yes! We love partnering with churches. We believe families are the heartbeat of the church, and when they are strengthened, the whole body is strengthened. We would be honored to partner with your church or group to make this experience accessible for your families. We do special things to make camp a meaningful experience for large groups, so please contact us and our team will walk you through the details and options. We’ll not only walk you through the details but also give you the materials you need to help promote Family Camp to your congregation.
We’ve got programs for every stage, so kids can grow in their faith and have fun while parents enjoy time with the Lord and other adults.
We understand that most vacations don’t always feel like vacations for you parents. That’s why every evening, a babysitter meets you at your cabin for kids 10 and under so you can attend the evening speaker, enjoy a date night, or connect with other parents. During the day, kids’ programs also give you time to join adult teaching and rest. We want Family Camp to feel like a true vacation for you!
Every family with kids 10 and under is paired with a volunteer babysitter for the week. These are teenage girls who love Jesus, love kids, and are eager to serve your family. Babysitters help in children’s programs each morning and return to your cabin each evening to care for your kids so you can attend the evening session, enjoy a date night, or simply rest.
Babysitters follow camp guidelines for safety and curfew, receive training before camp, and are committed to making your stay easier. You’ll work with your babysitter on things like bedtime routines and evening activity preferences, so you feel best supported.
Our chefs can accommodate most common allergies and diets, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and nut-free (our kitchens are nut-free facilities). If you have severe allergies like Celiac Disease, we ask that you bring pre-cooked, pre-portioned meals in microwave-safe containers. Refrigerators and microwaves are available in our dining halls. For detailed questions, contact our Director of Guest Dining, Cecilia Cabrera, at Guest.Dining@foresthome.org
At most vacations, you end up doing all the work. Packing snacks, keeping the kids entertained, cooking, cleaning, and coming home more tired than when you left. At Family Camp, it’s different. You get space to truly rest as a parent with built-in childcare (one of the top reasons families return year after year). You may be thinking of going to Hawaii, Europe, or somewhere else, but those vacations don’t leave you refreshed, rested, and transformed like Family Camp does.
And the best part? You’ll leave the mountain with a full heart, practical tools to strengthen your family’s faith, and the peace of knowing your kids are building a foundation in Christ from a young age. We promise: no other vacation can do what Family Camp does.
